Riding the Sunset is a 24" x 36" framed original painting on canvas by Scot Storm. In the painting, Scot aimed to capture the mesmerizing beauty of the sunset over a wetland in the Sacramento Valley. The painting portrays the sky in orange, gold, purple, and blue hues with the sun setting behind the distant hills. The calm waters reflect the wetland below to add depth and texture to the scene. In the foreground, a flock of canvasback ducks flies in to roost for the night. Their outstretched wings create a dynamic sense of movement and energy.
