The Godfather's Cat is a hand signed, limited edition fine art lithograph by photographer Steve Schapiro.
The piece was hand pulled on Coventry rag archival paper through an antique 19th century German Dufa printing press.
Schapiro had originally created this iconic image as a photograph while working as a special photographer for Paramount Pictures. The image features Marlon Brando as The Godfather, Don Corleone, stroking his cat.
This lithograph was created at S2 Editions Ltd, Atelier in Las Vegas in 2003. The S2 chop mark appears in lower left corner of this piece.
Comes with a certificate of authenticity from the publisher, S2 Art. It ships in a museum quality tube.
