Product Overview

This is a limited edition, hand-pulled fine art lithograph of Alphonse Mucha's, 1900, classic work of art titled, The Seasons: Autumn.

Featuring Mucha's favourite nymph-like women, The Seasons: Autumn 1900 was one of a set of decorative panels created for printer and publisher, Champenois. Mucha created 4 different sets of these panels (2 sets in 1896 and 2 sets in 1900). The 1900 series with this image was the final set.

The poster was pulled on Rives BFK archival paper, one colour at a time, on an antique French Marinoni Voirin printing press.

This piece was hand drawn at the Mucha Foundation while viewing the original artwork. As a result the colours are a perfect match. It is extremely difficult to distinguish this lithograph from the original.

It was printed at S2 Atelier in New York City by master printers, under the supervision of Technical Director, Raymond Mazza.

This lithograph bears the chop mark of S2 Editions Atelier. The signature of the chromist, David Copson, is printed unobtrusively on this lithograph in order to distinguish this recreation from Mucha’s original work.

Comes with a certificate of authenticity from S2 Art Group, Ltd.

It comes packaged in a museum quality tube.

Hand numbered lower left corner.

Edition Size: 300 plus 35 ME (Museum Editions) and 30 EA (Épreuves d'Artiste)

Dimensions: 15 x 31 (image size)
