July 20, 2019 will mark the anniversary of humankind's greatest accomplishment to date. The Moon landing and the first step on a celestial body by humans.
On July 20, 1969, the Apollo Lunar Module known as the Eagle, delivered commander Neil Armstrong and module pilot Buzz Aldrin to Moon. Neil Armstrong became the first person to set foot on the lunar surface and Buzz Aldrin joined him a short while later. Michael Collins, the Columbia command module pilot, flew alone in lunar orbit while the other two astronauts were on the lunar surface collecting specimens to take back to Earth.
This incredible event is burned into my memory. I remember as a child watching this momentous event on television. I could not believe what I was seeing. It was beyond incredible. I still get goose bumps whenever I think about it.
To celebrate this momentous event, numerous celebrations are planned across the US.
However, Montegrappa in a licensed collaboration with NASA, has come up with their unique way to commemorate this landmark with a set of beautiful collectible Moon Landing pens in both limited and open editions. Resembling the Saturn V rocket, the exclusive limited edition pens are available in sterling silver and pearlised resin and a very limited series in titanium and 18k gold. The standard open edition is made of aluminum and resin.
Don't miss the chance to mark this important event by owning one of these significant licensed masterpieces.
