Robert MdGinnis originally created Lie Down, Killer as a book cover for American mystery novelist, Richard S. Prather's novel of the same name. Prather is best known for creating the Shell Scott series.
McGinnis collaborated with S2 Editions Atelier, in 2002, to create limited edition, hand pulled lithographs of the book cover image. Before running the final edition, McGinnis approved the proofs.
The lithograph is hand signed in the lower right corner by McGinnis and hand numbered in the lower left corner.
