This is the scarce 2005 San Diego Comic-Con version of the Tatooine Luke Skywalker exclusive moisture farmer mixed-media premium format figure. The idea for the statue was inspired by a cut scene in Star Wars: New Hope in which Luke gazes through his electro-binoculars at the battle between Vader's Star Destroyer and the Tantive IV.
The museum-quality mixed-media figure is created using polystone and metal. It features expertly tailored clothing, including the young moisture farmer's poncho, floppy hat and goggles (Comic-Con Exclusive Version only). In addition, the figure is hand-painted and finished according to Sideshow Collectibles' very high standards.
Note: The box is unopened.
We purchased the figure from Sideshow Collectibles booth at the 2005 San Diego Comic-con. It's limited to 500 pieces worldwide.
