Product Overview
In 1897, Alphonse Mucha created this famous art nouveau poster for the P.L.M. railway service. The poster features an image of a sea worshipping nymph, surrounded by the native plants and birds that inhabit the French southern coastline. In the background, you can see the famous Monte Carlo Casino.
The lithograph that you will be purchasing is a limited edition, hand-pulled, recreated lithograph, of the original Monaco-Monte Carlo artwork, by the publisher, S2 Editions Atelier.
The piece was created under the endorsement of the Mucha Foundation and bears their chop mark as well as that of S2 Art.
It was hand-drawn at the Mucha Foundation while viewing the original artwork, therefore the colours are a perfect match making it difficult to distinguish it from the original.
