Product Overview
This is one of 2 decorative panels that Alphonse Mucha created, in 1897, featuring the head of a brunette woman bedecked in an elaborate Byzantine head dress. The other panel features a blonde woman's profile similarly dressed in Byzantine regalia.
The artwork that you will be purchasing is a limited edition hand-pulled lithograph of the original 1897 Byzantine Head Brunette poster, by publisher, S2 Art Group, Ltd.
The lithograph was created under the endorsement of the Mucha Foundation and bears their chop mark as well as the publisher, S2 Art.
It was hand drawn at the Mucha Foundation while viewing the original artwork, therefore the colours are a perfect match making it difficult to distinguish it from the original.
