Frankenstein Grateful Dead Lithograph by Stanley Mouse and Alton Kelley

Frankenstein is a hand pulled, signed, limited edition fine art lithograph by renowned psychedelic artists, Stanley Mouse and Alton Kelley. It's titled: Family Dog Presents Greatful Dead.

The lithograph is an exact replica of the original 1966 poster that Mouse and Kelley had created for the Grateful Dead band's concert at the Avalon Ballroom in San Francisco. It's hand signed by Mouse and Kelley.

Note: This poster was notorious for its misspelling of the Greatful Dead's name (should be Grateful). It's also known for the quote at the bottom: "May the baby Jesus shut your mouth and open your mind."

The piece was hand pulled on Coventry rag archival 100% cotton paper through an antique German Dufa printing press.

It was created at S2 Editions Ltd, Atelier Las Vegas in 2008, and comes with a certificate of authenticity from the publisher, S2 Art.

It ships in a museum quality tube.
