Mornin' Papa is a hand signed, limited edition fine art lithograph by Stanley Mouse.
The lithograph is an exact replica of the Stanley Mouse and Rick Griffin, October 27, 1967 artwork. The piece is titled: Mornin' Papa and it is a take on the very popular Sunday morning newspaper colour comic strips. The artwork features surrealist images of Mickey Mouse and Rick Griffin's own creation Murph the Surf all under The Family Dog, masthead.
The lithograph bears Stanley Mouse's authentic, hand signed signature (n the lower center) and an in-plate signed print of Rick Griffin's signature (lower right corner). One of Griffin's kids gave the publisher a signature to use for this piece.
The piece was hand pulled on deckle edged archival 100% cotton paper through an antique German Dufa printing press.
This lithograph was created at S2 Editions Ltd, Atelier and comes with a certificate of authenticity from the publisher, S2 Art.
